Fragility | Zine, Personal Project
February 2018
Fragility is an art zine that reimagines the David Lynch film experience. Screenplay excerpts from David Lynch’s Lost Highway (1997) are superimposed on stills from Harold Ramis’ Groundhog Day (1993). The zine concludes with a review for Groundhog Day by a writer who hasn’t seen either movie. The writer was equipped with Wikipedia plot summaries of both movies and the idea that Groundhog Day was a neo-noir art film that investigates themes of toxic masculinity.
